2009 Caravan

Cabernet Sauvignon

The long and cool 2009 growing season resulted in average yields of rich, bright and structured fruit. Appealing aromas of lavender, herbs de Provence and black cherry liqeur introduce the 2009 Caravan. The wine is full-bodied, exhibiting dark alluring fruits - juicy plum and blueberry, balanced by dusty mocha, anise and oolong tea. Well-balanced, the tannins are soft and round and the finish long and enjoyable, revealing delicate notes of cinnamon and cedar.

2005 Montes Folly 

Syrah

Wine Spectator: 94 points

Great density and structure with deep ruby red colour. Defined presence of mature dark fruits (berrie's marmelade) and cassis with perfectly integrated vanilla notes. The wine is mouth filling, velvety and robust at the same time. Dense. In the mouth there are layers of ripe black fruit, black cherries and ripe plums, beautifully integrated with the smokiness typically from Syrah.

2008/09 Nine Stones

Shiraz

The 2007 Reserve Chardonnay is creamy and complex displaying intense fruit aromas and flavors of white peach and ripe pear. The stone fruit combine with toasty oak, vanilla and coconut notes that extend through the rich, lingering finish.Deep ruby in color, Hahn SLH Estate 2008 Pinot Noir exhibits 

the richness and depth one has come to associate with Santa 

Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir. Scents of cherry and dark fruit 

mingle on the nose with wisps of black pepper. Flavors of ripe 

red and dark fruits, sweet oak and a tinge of citrus are balanced 

by cool-climate acidity and velvety tannins. The mouthfeel is 

rich yet elegant, tapering off to a lengthy, luxurious finish

Invariably deep coloured with complex aromas and flavours, moderately spicy with plenty of mixed berries, black cherry and a range of chocolate characters.

The wine is powerful with layers of ripe blackberries, dark cherries and luscious chocolate, mocha and macerated fruit characters

2009 Migration

Chardonnay

Capturing both the sophistication and richness of cool-climate Russian River Valley Chardonnay, this wine displays inviting aromas of pineapple and fresh pear, alongside notes of nectarine, Meyer lemon and orange zest. The stone fruit and citrus elements continue on the palate, with layers of nectarine, tangerine, and lemon curd as well as sublte toast notes. Though the mouthfeel is long and rich, the wine's natural acidity adds poise, focus and balance.
